Home Learning

Research shows that children who consolidate their school learning at home, make better progress at school overall.

For many parents home learning is a helpful means by which they are able to understand what subjects and skills their children learn at school. Regular home learning provides a significant opportunity for parents to show interest in, and support, their children’s work.

By setting home learning we aim to encourage a strong and positive partnership between home and the academy; to enable parents to support classroom work and to ensure that children make the best possible progress. We have developed a home/academy agreement policy to which we request your agreement and co-operation.
